Checking a competitors keyword rankings

Is it possible to check a competitor to see what search terms they are successfully ranking on? I want to see where there traffic is coming from aside from the obvious keywords.

Also there was a website that showed all the terms they were buying on Adwords...anybody recall it?

For checking organic rankings, Just go to semrush.com and type the URL, you will get the different keywords for which the website is ranking for.

For the adwords part, you can use spyfu.com,keywordspy.com or Wordtracker.com
