You can use SimilarWeb (free tier) to estimate peak traffic times for popular websites.
Ahrefs and Ubersuggest offer traffic estimates but not hourly breakdowns.
For real-time peak hours, there’s no free tool with exact accuracy without internal access.

Like I said above, SimilarWeb shows rough activity by day and hour for bigger sites, but it’s not detailed. If the site is small, I used to run FB or Reddit ads with UTM tags and track when clicks come in. It’s a dirty method, but works if you just need to catch peak hours.

Tools like that probably don’t exist, but there’s a workaround you could try:
- collect the main keywords the site is ranking for
- identify the top countries where the site ranks for those keywords
- launch a Google Ads campaign targeting those keywords
- analyze peak impressions/clicks, taking into account time zones in the target countries
The downside is that it requires a budget. But you can use the site you’re researching as the site for the ad campaign.
