Check Ranking the right way

Hy,

I'm using LA rank tracker to check ranking for some keywords and since the number of kw is getting bigger I decide to use some proxy.

The problem is that I notice a difference between the results not very big (3-7 positions) between checking with my pc IP and checking with proxy.

The proxy have the same country location as my pc IP I use the same country user option on both situation.

I have the same situation when I use the proxy on my browser so is not a problem from the software.

What I suspect is that this can be cause by the fact that the proxy are https and they don't forward complete header information.

What do you think is the best version to take in consideration? What is your opinion?

P.S. My website have national coverage so we are talking about the best solution for country filtering not city or so...

If you read more carefully you will understand that this is not the situation... LA rank tracker stand for Link-Assistant Rank Tracker witch is a software for rank checking... Witch for what I know it use it's build in in browser and I set it up to remove any custom variable...

About the browser test check that I made it was made using private browsing with clear history, cash and without cookie.

I have done the same test's on a different dedicated server and I got the same situation....

So... WHAT COULD BE....?
