I recently bought 10 twitter accounts for my project, and I usually check them on Pixelscan and IPFighter before connecting them to my antidetect browser. Do you guys usually check proxies before or after buying them, and what website or tool do you typically use to check them?

u should check before buyinh. once a flagged IP is linked to an account, the damage is already done.

checkers dont usually check for history for twitter. check the IP ASN to make sure it matches the accounts region. mismatched geos are a common way to trigger red flags

It’s important to be realistic about what you can check beforehand. Most proxy companies don’t offer IP samples before purchase, so initial testing usually happens after you get access.

For static or dedicated proxies, using tools like Pixelscan, IPFighter, Whoer, or IPQualityScore can give you a good idea of IP reputation, location accuracy, and fingerprint behavior. It’s also useful to test them in a clean browser profile to see how they perform in real conditions.

With rotating proxies, though, checking a single IP doesn’t mean much since you’re working with a full pool. In that case, it’s more about the overall network quality and consistency over time rather than one-off checks.
 
Sometimes I use IP Quality Score for it, but easier for me just google something and if google workds withous captcha - its okay for the most of tasks
 
I think its better to check proxies both before adn after buying, just to be safe. Testing them on a couple of different tools helps catch issues like leaks and bad reputation. sometimes one tool shows clean, another doesn't, so don't just rely on one.
 
Ideal is to test before buying. There are providers who allow trials.

Most guys check their proxies both before and after buying using free tools like Whoer or Browserleaks to verify geolocation and leak detection . Just load your proxy into Gologin and test with IPhey to make sure everything matches before you connect those Twitter accounts.

I usually test proxies on sites like Pixelscan, IPFighter, Whoer, or IPQualityScore. I also start with a trial to make sure they’re good. The last proxy I bought was from a reliable provider and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Another option is to look for websites that have curated lists of the best proxy providers.

you would have thought after all this time being able to match proxy
use to previous accounts would be easy
 
Yeah I usually check them beforehand just to avoid any surprises. I just run a quick reputation check and make sure everything looks clean before using them.
 
Many proxy brands give you a free plan or a few days to try them out for free... so do that first and use some of the popular testing tools before you commit.
 
Before purchase is mostly impossible — most providers don't expose the pool until you pay. After purchase, Pixelscan+IPFighter only catch surface flags; the two checks that actually matter for accounts are: scamalytics.com for fraud score (anything 25+ is dead for social media) and ipinfo.io for real ASN + geo (carrier vs. hosting tells you everything). Pixelscan's "proxy detected" flag is too aggressive — it flags clean residential IPs too. Focus on fraud score and ASN class, skip the cosmetic checks.

For static ISP/Residential we are usually checking IP fraud score (scamalytics) and IPInfo to determine if the IP address is actually coming from a real user device (or ISP) and not flagged as Datacenter/Hosting.

From what I've seen, having a dedicated mobile proxy with a matching DNS and p0f can make a huge difference in avoiding flags. Liveipmap and whoer are decent tools for checking proxies, but like others said, it's all about fingerprint consistency and using the right infrastructure. Dedicated mobile proxies with a clean setup can help you fly under the radar, and it's worth the extra effort and cost.

I normally check after i purchase. Most providers dont provide tests on static ips and if they do they tend to perform bad ( people sometimes abuse the test proxies) . i would use ipquality score to ensure that the proxy is geolocated in the region you need them in . then run simple tests to see if you are actually able to use the proxy on multiple sites. if you are able to it is usually a good sign .
