Check cashing scam

Anybody here get those emails saying you can get a job as a payee cashing checks and forwarding the money? The scam is the checks are bad and you've already sent the money by the time they bounce if you did not know, but does anybody ever respond for fun? I love acting crazy and saying I'll do it. I've had to collect at least 300k in checks so far since the beginning with the largest being 25k. I called the company located in canada that the 25k check was drawn from trying to warn them and they threatened to call the FBI on me. Now I just keep the checks impressing people as I spread them out on my pool table, 300k endorsed to me. The looks alone are worth it.

Yeah,LoL! Actually i had this guy send me two money orders saying he'll pay me for promoting his myspace page. I was not an idiot. I got in contact with the money order company and they said te Money orders were already cashed. But my buddy went to the bank and tried to cash his. He felt humiliated.

How do these scams work?

Screwing with the scammers is always fun. I dont remember where but I saw a blog once where this guy was playing along with one of the Nigerian scammers and it was some funny shit

I received a 5k check in the mail along with a letter saying I won some sort of lottery. Ha. It was also from Canada. The letter said to call the "claims department" so they could verify it was sent to the right person. To make a long story short, I didn't call them and was too chicken to deposit/cash the check. lol
