Cheating Ads

Hi sorry if this is the wrong section, I am not too familiar with ads thats why this question could be stupid for some.

Example 1 - I have a website in which I blog.

I have 3 ad networks set up Google, PopAds and maybe another.

I then pay a website to send traffic to my website will I make profit? and am I breaking any ToS of these sites?

your results will tell if you are breaking some tos or not

if you have google adsense you need to be very careful which networks you are getting traffic through.

depends on the quality of traffic that you buy. if its real users and not bot traffic, it shouldnt be a problem.

Yes you are breaking tos

For Google Adsense, it is really tough to bank with paid traffic. Either Google will ban will sooner or later or you won't bank enough than you paid for traffic. Try it first and see yourself.

You are talking about traffic arbitrage and its alot more complicated now especially with adsense.

You breaking TOS but if You ask is it possible to earn yes it is but like few people before said it's complicated.

Did it worked? It's long time, since you tried so I want to know the results?

SHORT RESPONSE --- Fake traffic will NOT bring you much revenue to break even

OBSERVATION 1:

i have personally experimented on getting fake traffic on adsense

i was generating the traffic myself - google only paid me $50 after 1 million views -- it took me 60 days non stop bot work with 20 PCs (on average)

a. electricity bill
b. internet bill -- had to use 4 internet connections
c. reviewing the bots performance every 3-4 hours

worked for 2 months straight and got $50 on adsense --- I was unsuccessful with the clicks -- as it recognised the clicks but did not pay me for those, no warning received from google experiment was conducted in year 2022


OBSERVATION 2:
not much difference noted on google ranking to pg 1 -- even with the increased traffic it did NOT trigger any organic uplift

Well, this seems like fraud to me. But it really depends how this is settled.


You submit a website that takes traffic from other networks, which delivers very bad quality traffic. This eventually will be spotted from ad networks, no click, no conversion etc, because traffic is not relevant, users will stay on this site very short time, they won't click any ads nor look at the pops(they will close immediately) and eventually it will not bring any revenue.

But, there is an exception, you have content, that is exactly a match from the website you bring traffic to, and that website knows as a link sharing site and you are one of them, this can be not related to fraud.
