What is the cheapest wordpress hosting that you have ever used that was also pretty good?

Digital ocean... $5.xx per month.. I can do whatever I like... Doesn't have to be wordpress, or php for that matter. Oh.. and it's damn good.

Namecheap works fine for me.

Have you used it? Any good?
Yes I use it. Works seamlessly, and it’s a managed Wordpress plan meaning you don’t even need to fiddle around with the CPanel, just plug and play.

Yes, namecheap! I pay around $3 and the quality is very high. Good uptime, too.

Vultr $3.5/mo, VPS, root access, unique ip, SSDs. It does the job almost flawlessly. Well, not entirely. I'm still pissed they block SMTP for new accounts. For that single reason I wouldn't recommend it to everyone.

You actually got me interested. :D

Thanks for the suggestion. Let me check them out.

Vultr seems pretty cool too, any more suggestions?

Yeah...

As per @MisterF wpx hosting is good. I believe his words, so that will be one of the suggestions if you like managed wp hosting.

The other one will be amazon aws obviously.

WPX is the best hosting I have used, super fast, excellent customer support, free SSLs, free DDOS protection and much more.

It´s either between Namecheap and SiteGround.

The problem i found with SiteGround are their renewal prices after the first year.

First i hear of siteground being included

How was your experience?

Thanks for all your input. Arvixe is who I use, but I'm looking to migrate my site to a better host. Arvixe used to be great, but since they were purchased by another company they have really gone downhill.

I use hetzner vps - €3 per month. Manage multiple websites using virtualmin. Load speed is from another galaxy. Took me some time to install virtualmin accordingly but once is installed is a set and forget.

go with namecheap shared hosting bro i am using from 3 years

It's pretty decent, with the same quality as the other big players (DigitalOcean, Linode, etc) but with a lower entry price, but people need to be aware of their SMTP block as they won't be able to send mails for the first several months from their WordPress installation unless they connect it with a third party like Google Apps. I did let their support staff "know" of my disagreement with this policy. :poop::alien:
