I need some cheap VPS. All I need is like 128 MB RAM and 1 GB of HDD space, nothing special.

What's the cheapest one I can get?

I think Hostigation has that kind of package for $20/year. I don't have experience with them though.

Your best bet is to check lowendbox - they feature the cheapest VPS's you can find. A lot of the ultra-cheap VPS's are limited stock, but if you subscribe to their RSS feed you can spot a deal pretty quickly as it appears.

If you want a windows one you can get one for barely 13$ a month with 512mb of RAM, they are great for vagex or light programs check the sig below.

@spenzo : You can do both. For web hosting i would recommand a linux one though, the OS layer is thiner and there is no waste of ressources for a graphical environment.

For your SEO tools, the $13 one i mentionned sooner is perfect. You would get a VPS where you can set up any progs you like.

cinfu. 3,75/month, 256 ram, 40gb hdd and you get the option to choose usa or germany. I suggest germany-ivw got two with them and they are awesome.

Try hostthename.com. They are on BHW somewhere and have a discount code.

They are very cheap ($19/mth including Cpanel + 5 additional IP's) - cheaper if you dont want cpanel and additional IP's.

Their support team is amazing. I'm a newb to VPS, and have literally asked them about 50 questions over 6-7 tickets within 4 days. They've responded to each one in depth, within 10-30 mins at all hours of the day.

Guys its not always a good thing to buy something cheap - I paid $12.95 for a VPS from one of the providers mention in this tread and I regret it. Server is down, email to support is not answered and when the site was up its not newbie friendly. A`wasted $12.95. Go with established services who has real verifiable reviews.
