    Good Afternoon guys,

    I normally use 123reg.co.uk (UK based) however I have recently purchased my own server so will only need to purchase the .com domain names, just wondering where the cheapest place is to register them:

    godaddy = £7.68 per year
    123Reg = £9.99 per year
    ukreg.com = £9.49 per year

    anyone know any cheaper options?

    Cheers

    Hello my friend this might cost u 90 bucks for the year but it is well worth it

    Its called the godaddy discount domain club..
    It costs u 90 per year and u can get .com for $7.68 i think and u get .info for $2
    Which isnt all that bad.
    If your doing 30+ domains a year it is worth the money. If not i think u should just stick with what u have or personally i,d go with namecheap.com

    Cheers :D

    Cool mate thanks, I will check that out now! I think I might be better off buying it in $ rather than £ as the exchange rate is pretty good at the moment :)

    Netfirms.com - I believe they are $7.99 but you also get the privacy included. Very easy backend and I highly recommend them. I also think you can get them for $4.95 if you use promo495, but I am not 100% sure if that is still working.

    I just use namecheap to buy all my domains. If you look at how much time you are spending going around to try and save a few exta bucks you end up wasting that in research. if you plan on buying a lot of domains over the years set up a reseller account with one of the larger sites and get them cheaper.

    Godaddy still has the $1 promotion, but it comes tied with some other offer which costs 4.95 a month.

    name.com is very good and their transfer prices [without any coupons] are one of the best on the market, for example $7.75 for COM
    Just to register one .COM will cost you $9.99

    godaddy sucks for domain purchasing and hosting. you can always find a better solution than them.

    Avoid Netfirms if you want to sell your domains as they don't have push to other accounts option like every normal registar

    90 bucks to get cheaper discounts because you buy bulk domains? wtf is that... godaddy sucks for many other reasons but that is another one...what a fucking scam.

    They should be giving me 90 dollars

    Google is your friend!
    type "Godaddy coupons"
    grab a GD .com coupon from fatwaller or wherever
    go to GD, search for your domain, add it, apply the coupon, congrats!
    By far, GoDaddy is the cheapest registrar I've came with for .com when it comes to: GD coupons, bulk registration, domain registration with non-domain purchase, all of these 3 options ever gave me the cheapest .com prices around!
