Cheapest Keyword Research Tool

Whats the cheapest keyword research tool around that offers you once off payment (lifetime access).

I was thinking of just using Keyword planner tool and focus on Low competition and high monthly search volume but i dont think thats enough.

For a start you shouldnt bother with keyword research tools, keyword planner together with manual research should help.

If you want to try various SEO tools (Ahrefs, Moz, Majestic, SEMRush, etc.) without spending hundreds on monthly subscriptions, you can try looking on Fiverr for shared accounts. You can get a 1-2 months of access to these tools for 5-10 USD depending on the seller. They are often bundled together too so you can try many at once.

Long tail pro is good. It has a feature to check the competition also. I also use keyword planner along with it.

My suggestions are,

Wordstream,
Keyword eye,
Keyword spy,
Semrush, and
Long tail pro.

free tool keyword planner and cheap one is long tail pro.

My opinion is go with wordstream, longtial pro,semrush which works well.

You can try longtail pro,SemRush,Moz .
If you want better results in the KW research means, try some paid tools too.

I don't see long tail offer a cheap yearly fee. I was going to get the "$1 trial" and then pay I think $25 annually, which is fine. But then when I go to sign up for the trial it says "Plan : $1 trial and then $125 or so after that"

Longtail pro isn't $25 a year, it's actually $25 a month on that yearly plan. Otherwise its $37 a month. It really isn't that cheap.

Keyword planner is free though. Might not be as good, but it's free.

First of all, you don't really need any paid keyword research tool, you really don't.

A lot of them basically just rehash information found through Google Keyword Planner.

That is kind of one of the dirty little secrets of that particular niche.

It would probably be a better use of your time to try to figure how to use places like Reddit and Wikipedia to give you keyword ideas.

You have to understand that if you use Google Keyword Planner, whatever information you get there is exactly the same information your competitors would get.

That's why a lot of people who use only Google Keyword Planner play the SEO game at a serious disadvantage.

Also, there are many fast-rising new keywords that Google Keyword Planner might not even detect yet.

This is a virgin territory and if you are able to dominate those new keywords, you can gain a tremendous competitive advantage.

This is why I like Wikipedia and Reddit.

You use the huge crowds focused on certain niche information and piggyback on their coordinated and collaborative information-sorting and categorization efforts.

You might be able to pick up on a brand new keyword that others in your niche haven't dominated yet.
