Cheapest AI Image generator

Is a 3080 (10gb) enough to run stable diffusion locally?

Use Stable Diffusion or Flux. if you are running locally it's free to use. If you are using on some cloud platform like runpod it's still under $0.50/per hr the amount of time you keep the pod open. Flux is on par with midjourney btw, and even new SDXL models are getting better.

Try to learn ComfyUI and you and deploy the workflow from API.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday with Forge. Need to learn ComfyUI. My GPU seems to work decently well.

You can run flux in forge but it's most compatible with ComfyUI, Try flux it's best open source image generator so far. It makes very realistic images and even gets make the limb and fingers correct. It's on par with midjourney. But minimum system requirements is 24 GB VRAM.

Going to give it a try with ComfyUI today. It's not as simple as Forge but the learning curve doesn't seem steep.
I saw some flux model variants that don't require the full 24GB. Going to try those with ComfyUI.

Thanks for all the input!

SD, aka Stable Diffusion is your answer tho.
i dont recall now but leonardo also
Hey,

i am looking for the cheapest AI Image Solutions.

Openai = to expensive
MidJourney = medium expensive (10$ ≈ 200 Images)

The tool should have API or any workaround to mass generate images.

Stable diffusion is simply the best for this job.

if you have a decent PC with enough GPU I can recommend Fooocus. Especially for beginners its perfect.
Open source, run locally, free.
Stable diffusion UI looks like a boeing cockpit compared to fooocus UI
