Use the option Media Mail, if it's under 25pds, it's usually always around $2.50 per item. Yea they say it's only for cd, books, paper related, I never had a problem, and you can put a higher shipping fee on e*ay. Then just select the do not show postage price before you print shipping label.

Using media mail authorizes the postmaster to open the package and inspect the contents, so it sounds a bit risky (to me, at least). It's also slower than regular packages.
sometimes that can depend on what the items are, since some of the more fragile items can get crushed shipping that way if they aren't packed carefully. plus buyers obv. can drop a negative on it or neg the seller ratings for it.
if its a free shipping auction, i'll do it parcel post in a heartbeat though unless something's 13 ounces or less to be first class mail.
