Cheap workforce

    Are you good at math? Here's a simple calculation for today.

    Virtual assistant manager salary $257/month
    Virtual assistant salary $185/month
    Internet cost: $110/month
    Electricity and some other BS: $20/month

    Work hours in a month: 45 hours per week times 4 = 180 hours per month per person

    Don't forget the capital:
    Rent a space: $1030/year
    A decent computer: $412 each

    Let's say you have 1 manager and 3 assistant.

    The capital needed: $1030+($412*3) = $2266

    Monthly cost: $257 + $555 + $110 + $20 = $942/month

    Also, don't forget once a year, you must give a bonus worth one month of salary.

    So, how many work hours do we have?

    4 person * 180 = 720 hours per month

    Operating cost: $942/720 hours = $1.3/hour

    Yes, those are real numbers, in my country. You can get hard working english speaking VA in abundance here. You can tell them to do anything, as long as not morally or ethically wrong.

    What I can suggest is:

    - find some really good one's, I mean really. You have lot's of choices to pick from, use it wisely.
    - Differenciate between labour workers who do what you tell them by plan &
    - people, who work with their creativity - give these people more freedom & inspiration. They will make you grow bigger.
    - Spend 20% of all work forces to build on own ideas, developing products, etc.

    When getting a VA, make sure to provide them training even if they have done it in the past. This is just to be safe. When interviewing them, you should call them to hear their voice and how they present themselves.
