Hi I have signed up at several VPS places recently only to be disappointed.
I have a mailing list of about 20k people and most of the VPS hosts I have used either have port 25 turned off and do not allow you to install any autoresponder software.
Can anyone recommend a reasonable reliable VPS host that will allow me to mail with no silly 200 per hour limit and install software?

I have already done Hostgator their service has changed a lot recently.

Also if possible not using postfix as it can return a lot of false positives.

thanks in advance :)

All VPS providers (I use to be one), don't like people who send emails. It causes a lot of issues: complaints, server termination, IP blacklists...

Whatever the price, I don't think anyone would let you mass email forever.

Try to go with another provider. Most of them don't block any port.

There are some "bullet proof" providers in Panama, HK and other places but they are NOT cheap.

Hi thanks for the reply I understand what you mean but my list is double optin and cleaned so I get a low complaint rate.
You say try another provider that would be easy but that is why I am asking the question this week I have already tried 10 and the and they all had either no port 25 allowed or we only allow 500 emails a day limits.
Can someone PM and please point me in the right direction.

:) thanks

dude, go for a dedicated.

Checkout OVH for example. Their smaller dedicated are around 10 euros/month. Cheaper than your typical VPS.

Then, no one would care how many emails you send per day. As long as there are no complaints, you can send as many as you wish.

We're fine with that. VPS or dedicated - you got all ports open and no limits. Please see signature.

Thanks guys I shall check it out
If anybody wants a VPS that is blocking ports PM me and I'll show you lol

Just curious you say no limits but one limit I need to clarify is do you have any inode limits?

There is a whole lot more to sending emails than finding a provider that allows it. That' provider's IP will be banned in less than a day at the volume you're suggesting. All major ISPs will soft-block you once you go over their threshold bouncing the rest of your list. Even if you are seriously lucky and get around those obstacles you'll get slapped for duplicate pattern matching limits.

I'd suggest you read RMX's closed sales thread before wasting time there. Yeah I know he sold it blah blah blah. JDR domain is a couple months old and rather than hammer his upline I'll just say you're wasting your time and leave it there.

Invest in your own dedi, set it up for emailing, get your group of IPs (because with 20K list you're going to need a group), get some feedback loops in place, rotate your copies and maybe, just maybe you might see some success. The idea you're going to get a VPS and send out 20K emails with any sort of success is a fool's dream these days.

why don't you use special services designed for emails only?

Host your site on any server and those services will send emails from their own server. I don't remember the name of those services, sorry.

we can provide you emailing server, please proceed to the following thread..
