Cheap translation service?

Hello,
I have to translate a website from german to english. But I can't find a cheap translation service. The services I found, costs more than to let write a new article in english.
So do you know a cheap translation service? The quality hasn't to be professionel.

thx but "Buy 50 words for only $8 " - no, thats not really cheap.
 
You could use services on fiverr. Found some translators there but never tested anyone.
 
Yes, thats maybe the best idea. Maybe it is a little complicated to submit only articles with 500 words, but $5 for 500 words is okay.
 
For sure you will get a good translation service from german into english on Fiverr.

500 Words / 4 USD for the seller = 0,008 / word

Cheap<>Good. I just want a readable text. And it isn't really hard to translate a text if you know both languages.
 
You are right, its not hard to translate german into english or back, but for this amount (0.008) you get <<<< quality

For this wordprice you get only 3rd world writer/translator, and if you only like a "readable" text and no quality needed, use googletranslator/promt - its the same effect.

German is a expensive language :)

is free, "readable" but all this kind of software is "worthless" (my opinion) to translate sites/articles etc.

You only can use this kind of software for translate some words or some sentences, for a better understanding.
 
We will see. :) maybe I will pay upto 3cents per word but I can't find such service.

Automatic translations aren't really readable...
 
Try your luck on freelancer/odesk, but be aware of the same "software" translators.
 
Just get some freelancer from Odesk or Vworker as that will work best. But the price will be higher.
