Cheap storage ssd servers 2026?

Cheap in this age is not exactly easy to deliver.

With some of the components spiking in price 2 - 3x as recently as this spring.
Cheap plus large storage and unmetered bandwith is pretty much impossible to deliver, unless one compromises on quaity.

Hard to recommend anything without knowing the purpose / site / the current numbers it does / other requirements.

What level of support are you expecting (fully managed or self-managed)? And which region do you prefer?
Believe Ayksolutions.com dedicated server host is flexible enough to meet your specific needs. This hosting provider deserves all the praise it gets!

I will check, i not need fully managed, i can self manage i am sysadmin

if you are a sysadmin and can handle setup yourself then definitely check out the hetzner server auction. you can grab some really cheap dedicated boxes with decent ssds there and they are pretty generous with bandwidth. another option is buyvm with their storage slabs, they do unmetered and are cheap but stock can be annoying to catch. just stay away from contabo if you need fast disk io... their overselling has been pretty bad lately imo.

yeah if you can self manage then hetzner auction is easily the best starting point like @XSMMDoctor said. you can filter by ssd size and just wait for a good price to pop up. another option if you need US location is wholesale internet or reliable site, they sometimes have cheap unmetered dedicated servers but the hardware is older. just make sure you run smartctl to check the disk health as soon as you get provisioned... some of these cheap providers use heavily worn drives.

Since you can self manage, check out the ovh eco range as well. they do unmetered bandwidth but just watch the port speeds because some of the cheaper setups cap you at 100mbps or 250mbps... oneprovider is another option for finding cheap clearance boxes in different locations, though their support is basically useless but since you are a sysadmin you probably wont need them anyway. hetzner auction is still probably your best bet for raw disk performance for the price like @XSMMDoctor said.
