The only place I know with those kinda prices that still meet your requirements is ASmallOrange.
    http://www.asmallorange.com/services/hosting/

Their "Tiny" package falls in your price range ($25/year = a little over $2/month) and their customer service and uptime are excellent. The only bad part is the 75 MB disk limit but if you're just hosting landing pages that should be plenty of room.

Quite a good choice. Any other recommendation? I need to make comparison before I purchase the web host.

I just stumbled upon this web hosting plan at hxxp://biohost.info/host.php. The plan is cheap and offering more capacity and bandwidth. Is it reliable?

    Check out Known*host.com ... it's $5/month but still a deal. They're solid.

Would think that answers your question of reliable... all my experiences with .info hosts were bad.

    Hi
Do not forget that you always get what you paid for.. Not descent plans on that price range on my view, check Wikipedia for web hosting overselling.
Personally I like DreamHost-com and BullionHost-com, they are not overselling, I use them a lot for my white hat projects.

Well actually just had some issues with Dreamhost as they appear to be in the overselling business back again... not confirming just suspicious, so not 5 stars for them but 3 only.

    Hope it helps

    :)
If this note helped you do not forget to thank -->

I hate to break it to you, but Dream Host is one of the most populare (maybe even founding?) overselling companies out there.

They admit to overselling right on there blog and then back it up with bogus statistics about the stability being the same before overselling or something like that... blog.dream*host.com/2006/05/18/the-truth-about-overselling/

try net*firms.com/max2... currently they have an offer of 20 bucks per year with free 2 domains name given.. everything is pretty decent except that they do not use Cpanel.

I can vouch that Netfirms is very good but only for the first year; afterwards their prices are higher than what they offer.

If you're looking for something temporary, Netfirms is a great option, but if you're thinking of something more permanent, my opinion is that ASmallOrange is your best bet still.

I know I will get what I always pay. I do recommend people DreamHost, HostMonster, BlueHost and HostGator. However, I just wanna do some experiments on landing pages and made for adsense sites. So my budget is very small.

It seems 3ix.org's $1 Excite package is the most ideal choice. But too bad it can only host one site.

    Any other recommendation?

you can always create another new a/c the next year. that's what i'll do :D
quite frankly, nothing that i've seen come near to Netfirms 1st year pricing.

Drea*mh*ost has a $97 off coupon that even though it is supposed to be disabled still works. I used h0s7!ngfu and got the discount off a 120/year plan = $23 for 1 year of hosting!!! Has c-panel, ssh, .htaccess and web ftp. I haven't had any problems except they don't allow ssh over port 443, so I can't use them as my personal web proxy, lol

Are you very sure the coupon still works now?

I just used it about a week ago. If it doesnt, search for other 97 dollar off coupons that arent supposed to work anymore, some still might...
