Hey guys,

I'm looking for a cheap but decently reliable web hosting company.

I was with Dreamhost for about 9 years up until 2014, and for the last 3 years I've been with Namecheap paying a little less than $28 per year for their Ultimate Plan (normally $129.88 p/y).

The cheap ride is over and I'm not going to pay $129.88 to renew for a year, so I'm looking for a cheap, but reputable company to host some small sites on using a shared hosting plan.

I've seen iPage which is super-cheap for 3 years ($1.99 p/m), but I've ready some bad reviews on them and their load time seems to be really high (1146ms). Same with Web Hosting Pad (price and load time - 1604ms).

What are you guys using and maybe you know some good deals out there?

Thanks!

@CenTex Hosting Specs? I need to be able to host multiple sites, looking for something with a decent response time, say under 600ms. Don't need a ton of space, only using about 2.5GB at the moment.

I'd recommend craze hosts, multiple domains.

Starts from 0.99.

Very fast support as well.

Diđ you try Godaddy, Bluehost or GreenGeeks? I think they're good and worth to use. IMO

Your space requirements are not high. You can easily find good hosting provider. We are also providing quality hosting at Webxen.

I don't have a cheap shared hosting to recommend, but I would advise against iPage and Fatcow. They are SLOW. I wouldn't even use them for most PBNs.

Reliable and cheap don't make sense. Spend the extra money and go with a provider that can help you grow.
