First of all elaborate what type of web hosting plan you are looking for and how much resources you want....Usually cheap and affordable words used for to refer shared hosting and it's almost cheaper than our daily expenses. Filter Google results to sort out the list on web hosts; even though you will notice the price difference among all is not too much.....

Have a look through the review a host forum - there are plenty of reviews and recommendations from various people.

To find a host, you will also need to work out what requirements you have, in terms of features, and how much you are willing to spend.

Just be aware of the "unlimited" trap, often a fair use policy will apply.

I am using many shared hosting. Hostgator, hostmonster, ipage are found to be good for me. Don't use hosting which doesnot have cPanel, you will get alot of trouble like I have used 1and1 hosting, they are good but they don't have cPanel so its pain in the ass to use their hosting I have to learn everything and most of the things are not easy to use.

You have a pretty reasonable budget and with this amount you should look up hostgator. They are offering several plans and with that budget you will find a plan which suite your requirements. As far as services are concern, it is the best at the moment.

I think that you can get good hosting in this budget from hostgator but do check if they provide you with cpanel or not.

FusionHost are a quality host as well and are cheaper than HostGator. I've got quite a few sites with them and they are great.

I've been with lithiumhosting for the past year and I've not had a single problem. The guys that run it really know what they are doing. They have a plan that starts at $10/YEAR which is well within your budget. Good luck.

hostgator is good if you'll not have very much traffic. if you will get big traffic, go for a VPS
