I've set up my first Shopify webshop, inserted my Facebook pixel, and created a conversion (purchase) based ad on FB. My target audience is US based male, at age 13-25.
My problem is that the suggested bid amount is $30 ( $17-$65 ), but my products are cheap ($10-$20), and I only earn about $7 per sell. I've set the maximum bid per conversion manually to $1.9 but of course this way I only get about 200 impressions per day with a few clicks and zero sells. Is conversion based advertising really that expensive?
