Cheap Playstation 3?

Does anyone have any idea where to get my hands on a cheap PS3.

I'd love to play Metal Gear Solid, my favorite gaming series of all time but PS3s are kind of way out of my budget at $400-$600 just for a gaming system. Anyone have any idea where to get your hands on a cheap one?

Wii doesn't have Metal Gear Solid 4 though. That's pretty much the only reason I want the system.

It would be cool if someone could figure out how to build emulators a little faster. I have all the NES, SNES and N64 games from my youth but sadly, no playstations yet. Probably have to wait a while for those.

Well I just checked on slick*deals for you but didnt find much... I know there was an offer a while back where you signed up with a credit card offer and you recieved 100 bucks off.. but I couldn't seem to find it.

My suggestions if you really dont want to pay retail

check these sites every few days- just use the search feature-

Or if you really need to buy it soon- go to ebay and purchase amazon/worstbuy/circuitshity giftcards depending on the value of the card you can save more. The higher the value the more you will save- and buy a collection of them and make an online purchase for instore pick up(amazon use delivery).

I am just about to leave home for the airport to fly up to Bangkok, (1 hour flight). As I am calling into Pantip Plaza, I will check out the prices for you and let you know. I'm back late tonight so will post within the next 24 hours. (Saturday 12th July at the latest).

They should be cheaper and there might even be cheap knock-offs, but until I ask I have no idea.

I've watched two on ebay go for about $325 plus shipping in the lastt hour. If you know how to snipe then just watch the auctions dude. You'll eventually get the one you want.
