Cheap leads strategy

Hello, one friend told me an strategy and i would like know if somebody tried it.
He told me that is very hard get leads in the first visit of people that come from ppc Facebook campaigns, but, the clicks are very very cheap and you can use it for generate a big list for a remarketing campaign with Google Adwords....
What do you think?
Of course you need a great landing page anyway...

They aren't always cheap, you need a good funnel, not just a page, and you need to understand your target.

Yes, this works great, if you can do properly.
1st send traffic then retarget them. Dont spend money for them how already converted or in your list.
