Look around the forum, you can find some threads people put up about $0.50 .info's.
I think if you buy a domain from GoDaddy, you can get a .info for $0.50.

Yes i know, but now that "trick" on GoDaddy don't work anymore.

GoDaddy is 2.99 right now, if you buy in bulk, get an extra discount as well. I always look around for godaddy promo codes, always good way to get 25% more off, etc

I agree 1&1 is only 99 Cents ... it's takes a few hours to be able to add to change nameservers after you register, but ... hell it's 1/3 the price of godaddy and 1/2 the price of namecheap ... F.Y.I i use all three depending on the sales they got. Just my 2 cents : )

There are number of domain registrar who offers the cheapest domain registration, but I want to suggest you for internetbs.net, namecheap.com. As its price is low compare to other domain registrar.

Seem that 1and1 got the cheapest offer. But i've hear some horror stories about them. After one year do they force you to renew the domain?

I haven't had to renew yet, but just to be safe if the domain panel I made sure to turn off my auto renew. in reality there is no way they can make you pay for something you don't want, either remove your credit card info, or file a dispute once you get charged.

1and1 and GoDaddy are the best. Cheap and really good service. I personally prefer GoDaddy.

Nowadays, you can get domains at garage sales. LOL Just kidding. I know Go Daddy sells cheap domains always on sale and the other recommendations above would also help.
