So what's the difference between the 0.5$/month hosting like HostBlast vs 5$/month like godaddy ?

i'm asking this because i got this when i was trrying to buy hosting from HostBlast

"Your website will have its own private IP address. Example 212.242.22.232 , this will make your website stand out from the crowd and is a must have if you are into SEO. This is an optional feature and you can skip selecting this if you do not need a dedicated IP"

does that mean all 0.5$ have the same account ? can someone explain please

also what's about private ip address helps on SEO ?

Yes, many shared hostings are hosted on the same IPv4 adress. You can confirm this by doing a "reverse ip lookup" (google it). This is not really a problem as long as the performance is good.
I've never heard about this having anything to do with "positive SEO effects" and would not believe that. As long as the performance is fine, get yourself a cheaper one.

Cheap web hosting seems very attractive but often the price of cheap hosting is far costlier than you could ever imagine! Then there's that little thing about the difference between budget hosting and cheap web hosting. Cheap hosting is very attractive to spammers for the very obvious reason that it is cheap! Obviously to increase their profit margin spammers need to keep their expenses as minimal as possible which undoubtedly includes cheap web hosting!

Cheap hosting is cheap for a reason and I would never ever host my business and rely on a cheap hosting provider. It's good for someone looking to get their feet wet when they get started in IM or other business but not going to risk my thing for something that can ruin your business in the blink of an eye

cheap hosting is cheap due to factors
1) limited number of bandwith for visitor
2) Limited space
But good for small business as a start
Normal hosting is best since it standard for shared hosting are followed

It's like traveling, private ip address is traveling with your own car, whereas shared ip address is traveling with a bus.

Cheap web hosting companies will overcrowd their servers with clients, causing your website to load very slowly. Not to mention the many limits they will place on your account. Its not good even for startup websites.

It's all about business. Some are popular and some aren't. But always remember quality comes with a price.
