Cheap hosting that lets me use my namecheap domain?

I had hostgator but I hated it, they were overpriced and difficult when I submitted tickets.

I want an aprox. 1 USD per month hosting option that allows me to use domains mapped from my namecheap account. I was using zettahost but they want me to transfer my domain over and charged me for it as well as requiring the EPP code of my domain. Namecheap says on their website that nobody should ever ask for your EPP code- so now I am skeptical about this site. Anyone have any better options that are trustworthy, cheap, and allow me to map my domains directly from my namecheap acct?

The reason why the 1 dollar hosting wants you to transfer domain over is that is where they are making money. A web host is not going to make any money with just 1 dollar web hosting. So they will get you to transfer your domain and charge you like 15 bucks a month.

Most regular host wont make you transfer the domain to them.
 
You can use namecheap hosting it's cost 10$/year
 
Check out asmallorange they have some really low cost hosting plans and allow you to point your domain to their servers no problem. Great service as well.
 
Most hosting copanies give you the option to register a new domain, transfer or use an existing domain.
 
Went with bluehost. Didn't like the feeling of the sketchier hosting companies throwing out 1 dollar hosting costs and then adding on things that everyone else includes for free, it's essentially lying.
 
Serverhosh has a $1 monthly shared plan I have seen, not used their shared hosting. I have been using their win server for a long time never had problems nice service.
 
The only reason a web hosting company should ask you for the transfer of a domain is because they want to manage it for you in case you aren't sure how to proceed on how to swap the nameservers.
It shall not be a requirement at all though.

It's pretty easy to swap nameservers- didn't like the idea of transferring the domains.
 
It's funny that a hosting provider requires the customers to transfer domain registrar to them. Moreover, it's more than funny if they charge like $15/month after domain transfer to them.

I doubt there is good quality $1 hosting company, but for $2 or a bit more you could find better one.
