I need to register several domains, so i would like to get best deal possible. (godaddy coupons doesn't work with my acc anymore /= ) i've read here that when you make new acc and use same credit card, that they don't care when you pay, but that is not the case anymore /= So atm i can buy .com domain on godaddy for 13.67 $, where i can get cheaper one? Thanks for replies.

Also i found website 1and1 offering many 1$ domains, but i've read several threads about them and they've seem to me like a scam.

I use namesilo for my domains, $8.99 which includes whois privacy.

I have used 1&1 for $1 domains but after reading some negative reviews i stopped using them.

..your discounted domain coupons won't work in your 1st godaddy.com account, open a 2nd, 3rd and 4th and
all those $1.17 and $5 or so free privacy w/domain coupons will work again..then do a quick call 1-2 month later
to godaddy agent to merge all those accounts..works well for me

If you don't care about the extension you can get a .xyz for $1 at namecheap.

I have PM'ed you too. Let me know if interested. I can do it for $5/domain(TLD) with private whois for 1st year.

I can give you a great cheap prices for .com and you manage your site via logicboxes. If you are ok with my offer, lets start here.

This was exactly my dilemma yesterday. Had to do a research, read some older threads in here as well.
I went with NameCheap, paid around $10 for a .com with privacy. Oh well, hope it pays off later! :)

I use Namecheap, it is pretty cheap. You pay 10 bucks per year for a .com, other domains like .info or .co.uk costs only some 3-5 bucks. They also give you a 1 year free whois privacy protection.

It gets harder and harder all the time to get cheap domains. Fortunately, I never buy a domain name unless I know it will make money. Obviously it's great to save money, but if you're building websites that make coin, then it should be easy to toss even up to $20 out the window to get the domain anywhere.

Of course saving money is always acceptable, so I'm glad to see some good ideas expressed in here about how to get cheap domains for the people who do have concerns about up-front project costs. If you are registering hundreds to thousands of domains at a time obviously you would want to go super cheap, but for 10 or fewer domains ... who cares what one pays as long as they turn a profit!

Not sure what I'm doing right exactly, but I have never spent over $2 on a new domain with GoDaddy, and only have 2 accounts: 1 US based and 1 UK based. Have you tried different coupons?

Don't go cheap when registering domains, you will thank me later. Go with a reliable registrar such as Namecheap.
