Hello BHW! I want to start on the movie streaming niche and i don't know where to register my domain. What are the cheapest domain registrar? And i heard that it's better to buy an expired domain as it will rank better. If you can give me some tips, it will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

I think there was a namecheap offer for .com few days ago, not sure if it's still on, though... You could get a .com for like $3-4 or something.

Also porkburn sells .coms for like $5

And yeah, expired domains rank faster and carry a bit more authority than new domains, but you have to find a clean expired domain or else it's pointless. And finding good expired domains cost money (and the domain itself might cost at least $20-30 if you're lucky to find such a cheap domain), so be prepared to spend quite a bit of money

yeah... I just checked moments ago cause I need a cheap .com (under $5-6) and noticed that the new promo (.com for $5.98) only works for new members (if I got this right), and porkbun don't offer discounted .coms anymore :(

Need to buy a cheap .com badly TODAY, do you know someone who offers it for under $6?

Sign up for a new account. (They don't care for multiple accounts)
Wait 30-60days and push it across to your main one
 
I would say the price for the domain name depends on:
- domain name extension
- registrar
Also important to understand for how long are you going to keep that domain name for.
If you are going to use that for more than 1 year - go ahead and check renewal price (it can be way more higher than registration fee).

I saw that you must add SSL separately, if you don't add that you will not have SSL at all or what ?

You going use Wordpress? Yes?
Depends on what hosting you are using, it could take up to a maximum of 2 minutes to install a let's encrypt SSL cert.
Which is what 99% of domains gonna give you if they ever offer the "Free SSL"

Hoe many account I can create without any issues?
I will appreciate any insight on this.

Well, if you are going for mass accounts, i wouldn't risk having that many created at once on the same IP.
They may not care for small amounts, but making lots to gain their system will most likely flag something.
They also don't really check address either, I have some accounts with random address generated with random names
Personally, I only have 3 namecheap accounts (which I use on the same IP).
maybe 4 or 5, i probably forget those credentials years ago

Actually I wanted to ask about porkbun and not namecheap. So like 5 should be fine?

As for porkbun, I have probably 5 or 6 accounts under the same IP.
Thanks to the free domains they handed out last christmas.
I kinda went ham when their system wasn't crashing.
So far, they are all up and running still, no issues.
