Cheap .com domain providers?

Nope prices are fixed, the only way you are going to get it cheaper if a provider has some coupons or some deal going on.

1. Cosmotown (dot) com. (cheapest)
2. Namesilo. Accept Skrill, Paypal, Bitcoin, AliPay.
3. Namecheap.
4. Internet BS. (located in Bahamas, doesn't accept Paypal. Skrill and Worldpay only)
5. Only Domains (dot) com (located in New Zealand, accept Paypal).
6. 1 and 1 would be the cheapest if you create a new account with them since they have welcome offer.

And the rest, you can check all of them at ICANN.org website, if you have the time.

Thank you and thanks to everyone!

Namecheap has my vote.

Stay far away from 1and1 and GoDaddy. 1and1 have their dumb contract setup so they can try to squeeze extra years out of you. They have a history of actually sending bill collectors after you for not renewing. Here's one example: https://www.namepros.com/threads/1and1-com-sent-to-debt-collection-agency.632874/

GoDaddy are just expensive after your first year. They entice you with a cheap domain, then after that, they're like $15/year + $10/year for privacy. The $15/year .com is bad enough compared to their competitors, but $10/year for privacy is absurd.

Let's not forget iPage. I think they don't provide for direct domain sells, but if u get one + hosting, they tend to run an offer once in a whole = 12$/year domain+hosting. The renewal fees are like $160 (believe it or not) but after that you can easily trasnfer to another hosting, or create a new hosting for that money, and just keep playing around with hostings and domains. That's what I've been doing for projects that are not that important to me.

I buy a lot of domains, and Namesilo is the cheapest I've found unless someone is running a deal. The deal I've seen in the past couple years was AlpNames selling .coms for about $5 plus an extra $1 for privacy, which ran for something like a month. I see .net and .org go on sale for a little less than that every now and then.

actually you can use an extension called honey with godaddy.
Last week it showed me $0.90 something for .com domain for whole year and u just had to pay for that only not 2yrs/3yrs as honey applied some special coupons.
Give honey a try. You can get good discounts.
Cheers! I'll be using this :)

Hey guys,

I really need a cheap provider for a .com domain, and possibly to pay with PayPal. Not the goddady offers that offer 1$/year domain, but make you pay for 2years at least (15-16$ total).

domainzguru.com/domain-pricing

If you are ordering in bulk, PM me i will get you a good deal.
