I'm not looking to pay more than $15/month. I'm not going to be using too much resources, just maybe a little over average use. The only reason I want a VPS is because I like to have my own, independent thing rather than a hosting. I would like to hear your suggestions.

Anyone ever heard of UCVHOST? They're offering 6 GB Storage, 512 MB Dedicated Ram and 500 GB Data Transfer for 10 bucks a month but I don't know if they're reliable. They were ranked really high on Google though (:

Take a look at the sticky thread:

I'm looking into them, not a bad deal, you're not looking for any addons are you? I do everything by hand, no frontend, that costs extra with them. If you give these guys a try report on your experience :-)

You only really need a VPS if you're going to SSH/customise it. I would stick to normal hosting if you're just hosting websites.

Have a look on webhostingtalk they have loads of dirt cheap VPS' there.

I stumbled across AlwaysVPN which has decent reviews. I haven't tried it myself yet though.

MDD Hosting and knownhost. I've seen good coupons around for MDD Hosting, try to G them, you should be able to find them without any probs.

wrzhost.com is very good.

i've got an unmanaged vps at them, but they helped me get through a lot of problems due to my 0 linux experience, they are slow on weekends but on weekdays they respond fast to anything. Takes a week max to have enough knowledge to manage your own hosting, and some google to find tutorials. But im happy with them, no worries for anything yet about shutting me down for anything.

i would recommend you w w w. LVPSHosting .c om ..
the guys know their work and i can offer you discount code for first month discount of 55% with 55CUT code entered at checkout..
