Cheal and scalable Facebook Ads Campaign?

Hi...I want to start a new discussion about facebook ads.

I only started few days ago with facebook ads, and I'm testing them with 50$ coupon. For now I will promote clickbank and jvzoo products only.. no cpa. Niche - IM.

I'm landing to the squeeze page or to sales page.
I tried conventional right-side ads with manual CPM bidding higher that suggested with custom audiences and external link, result - 0,020% CTR max... Full crap. CPM was 0,12$, no a lot, but CTR is lagging.
Then I switched to promoted posts with news feed only CPC and custom audiences - but here prices are higher - 0,3$-1,2$ cpc. I bid 0,34$ and I'm paying half of that per click. With 1% CTR, but the volume is so low... I had 9 clicks only overnight.

So I will be testing more.

If someone can give an advice:

What I need: to spend at lest 20-50$/day, to have 0,05-0,10$ CPC max with good volume (at least 200 clicks a day, 1000 is better).

So far I see:

-promoted posts (link or offer or photo) as it get's higher CTR that simple ads and it's cheaper because it's internal.
-Precise interests , cause for this purposes it's hard to go with custom audiences. (volume)
-Quantcast, Alexa age, gender,etc targeting.
-Right side ads? Because news feed only are expensive. (cheaper)
-CPM/CPC (needs testing).

Use power editor... target everything (not just mobile/desktop).....

try targeting more countries

use Optimized CPM!

Keep testing images/text... you should get 1%+ with a good ad.

I heard that if you are driving traffic to squeeze page/sales page -then mobile traffic won't convert, because people are rarely buying through their phone. And it's harder for them to insert their emai. What do you think about that?


Is optimized CPM is good for non-likes campaigns? All the successfull 0,01cpc-0,02 cpc campaign stats that I saw - where using manual CPC or CPM. And for cheap 0,00X likes optimized CPM is best.

you could use your daily budget to get cheap clicks to a facebook page, build it up and than post your offers to the page when it reaches a decent amount of likes 5k+.

it's not an option, it's something like mid-long term campaign.

Bun I need to build a list or make sales.

I know, that it's all about testing, but maybe someone can advices on their experience... I know that a lot of people spend 250-1000$... I'm just curious, how long their campaigns are running, how long to test, promoted posts or external, news feed or right side.
