chaturbate requests ID

Hey guys

Today I got an email from chturbate support , They asked me to provide identification as well as a selfie pic
I am not a broadcaster I am just an affiliates
Do I need to submit an ID? I have the feeling they are sending this email randomly because I don't use any tokens at all.

This happen to me several times over the years. If you don't provide an ID, they will put all your payments on hold until you sort it all out.

Are you affiliate or broadcaster? I am just a simple affiliate, I never broadcast even for a second

No, they never rejected any of my IDs. It's been a simple process each time. I have been through it twice in eight years.

Do they accept driver’s license?
When I attempted to upload my documents, it displayed this message:

"Note: Your identification photos will be processed by Jumio Corporation, a third-party identity verification company. By continuing, you consent to Jumio Corporation collecting and disclosing your biometric data pursuant to its Privacy Policy."

Did you see this message? I am concerned they may share or sell my personal information.
This is the first time in eight years they requested me to verify my account.
 
I didn't use a driver's license but I'm sure that's acceptable.
No, I didn't get that message. It's been years since I have done that.
 
AFAIK, it's written in Chaturbate's Terms of Service that they require ID verification in order to approve the first withdrawal of every affiliate. Broadcasters also have to prove that they are above 18 years old by providing ID.
Jumio is a legit ID verification company used by many big crypto exchanges.
I also fu*kin' hate ID verifications.
