Chatgpt don't know anything about 2022-2023 as it's knowledge didn't exceed 2021, what other alternative should I use?.

You add a relevant text from 2023 and tell GPT to write based on this text. There might be even better prompt.
Also this is usefull if you need more precise info, for example you can use scientific's studies text to get a more accurate writting.

its not true that its knowledge is stuck at 2021, its definitely what they say and even bot says it, but i managed multiple times to extract relatively recent data, from both 3.5 and 4
they are purposely limiting it, but its possible that they intend to push official "update" because some recent info is definitely in there

I haven't come across any recent information, instead I get old and dead data. I heard they are pushing GPT5, maybe that would be updated.

Yes, it is best to add some relevant content, and tell gpt to write an article based on this content. This is also a good idea, if GPT cant write well about the topic, or it writes false things.
