There's a difference between expectation/wishful thinking and reality. First you will have to look at the number of visits to see if there's really any major impact. Because, the fact that some technology exists, doesn't mean it's gonna change the world as you'd expect. There's plenty of super advanced technology out there that never took off.
Chatgpt is great and all, but is it all that interesting for the masses? I can tell you from personal experience that absolutely nobody i know really gives a fuck about it. Their response to it was more "oh, cool". It's not like it changed their lives. Most people won't use it. I've had people literally telling me it's cool but they're going to stick to google. Believe me: It's not that exciting for most people. Don't get me wrong: It's having a lot of success. But still, it is no Google. It is no Facebook.
Regarding stackoverflow, it doesn't seem to have been massively affected, based on the numbers i could find. Around 250 Million views in the last two months. In Jan actually more than in Dec. So...they may end up dying, but they seem very far from being dead by now. When do you expect them to die, since most developers have already seen Chatgpt by now?
