ChatGPT just added internet access and it's about to change the world as we know it...

If you're on the paid version of ChatGPT, you can now go into your settings and turn on Web browsing and Plugins under beta features.

Using this you can now:
1. Ask ChatGPT for CURRENT information(previously it was limited to 2021)
2. Ask it for URL resources of where it got the information from
3. It provides you ste-by-step what it's searching for and scanning online
4. Scan entire websites and give you summaries or takeaways

And SO many more things we are about to discover.

What are your thoughts on ChatGPT adding internet Access?

thanks for this just enabled it. i think it will make content writing better , especially for future events

Does this feature only work for ChatGPT plus subscribers?

They have to... Bard is connected to the internet.

With someone with Plus access, how does it work if you want to write a news article? Will it browse what's already 'breaking' and write something unique?

Yes, you wanna turn it off to avoid duplicate content which is just a toggle switch, it's on beta so no worries it will get better.
If you want current news on topics/niche it's excelent.<--- golden nugget right there.

I have a large social media presence (albeit on Twitter), so it could be interesting.
The reason why I don't post much news stuff is due to the time it takes.

Now, if I could just find a super speedy way of importing 10+ images into a Wordpress post, it might be worth signing up for the Plus version.

There are already several tools to automate the process of content creation. You may find this post useful: https://influencermarketinghub.com/ai-tools-for-journalists/

And some of the biggest content platforms on the internet are already using AI based tools to generate content for their readers: https://gizmodo.com/cnet-chatgpt-ai-articles-publish-for-months-1849976921

It's worth every penny, and it's only 20$, you don't need any fancy writers after that.

Or maybe tell it to write something that is not already published anywhere.

This is amazing! And to think we're just at the beginning... Where will AI take us?
