Do you think so? it uses machine learning, meaning it learns and improves its performance without being explicitly programmed to do so.It is not a big deal, it is controlled
Its scary! I am programmer and let me tell you its way to impressive and scary at the same time. Once you cant recognize the difference between human and machine you will have chaos. At least at first. Chaos are opportunity as well but let be hunest. We human have never really used new opportunity in a good way![]()
For now yes.... I agree... But next 10 years expect it to be massively improved. Don't forget that the version that we get to play with ain't the same as what "they" have. Use case for us now are limited to couple of text and images and some crappy codes... But it will take over everything soon or laterPeople are overreacting. It's just like using google and stackoverflow, but you can get the answers a lot faster. However, you can also get them a lot less accurate, since it fails pretty frequently. It's a cool tool to have at your disposal. It's not something that's gonna replace you(for now). It's very hit and miss. The other day it was giving me code that simply does not exist. In fact, it can create you problems instead of solving them. And plenty of times it has completely failed to solve the problems that i was having, while on Reddit i got the answer in 10 min. It needs to be guided by someone who knows what they're doing. It's not something a clueless individual will use to create anything meaningful.
No. The problems chatGPT and other Large Language Models (LLMs) have is fundamental to the way they work and they won't go away until we figure out Artificial General Intelligence. For now yes.... I agree... But next 10 years expect it to be massively improved.
