Chatgpt does not write more than 500 words

i command chatgpt to write 3000 words but it doesn't follow my commands and it only writes around 500 words, how can i solve this problem?

I'm not sure but you can try "continue from (last words)"

Try to write by parts of 500 words. Just add "one more please" or something similar.

Is this for article generation?? If so how does continue works? Will it follow the context from the previous chat?

I don't know but I also thought Elon said they will limit it to 5000 I think everyone has the same issue but you can keep searching maybe there is a way around it

This works with GPT-4 and carries on from stop point

Please continue writing from where you stopped

Just command for more though sometimes it repeats some parts of the previous generated article in the new article especially the conclusion or summary part. Just go through it and remove duplicated context.

I also mostly try to get around it by telling him everything but also letting him know he wrote half can he finish but this time he should continue and not start from the beginning but also he gets really confused you should add focus on continuing only
