ChatGPT-4 is no longer available to new users? I managed to make myself a premium account, but today users on Twitter complain that due to high demand, the service does not allow upgrading accounts. What should new users do, do you have any ideas?

That sucks. Can someone else also confirm on this?
I was myself planning to get a paid account but if doesn't have GPT-4 then not worth the money

That happens sometimes. It happened to me when i tried to upgrade, but i tried it again a few hours later and was able to with no problem.

Also, it's not exactly worth the 20 bucks.

I'd say it's worth 20 bucks if you're working with text. For example, it can suggest interesting topics for articles. But if you just have fun, then you can just use the free version.

I’m canceling my sub now that I have gpt4 api access. I’m sure many more will too for this month. Should be back to normal in a week or two.

This is great news in the short run for current users. I am sure openai will revive the cash cow.
