Chatbots baby!

I'm starting to consider to use a chatbot for one of my health sites, but I was wondering if any of you have had experience using them. Basically my idea would be to use them to compile phones and emails , and more importantly, to filter the browsing visitor from the buying one.

Id like for my bot to give prices at the request of my visitors, and Id like to give it a bit of a mischivious personality, with a name and some customization.

Do you think is possible and how much would it cost?

I think you could do it yourself with services like chatfuel/manychat.
A custom bot is not that hard unless you want AI for the natural language processing.

so if my visitors start asking for prices, the bot would give them, and also could compile emails and phones?

use chatfuel. they have the easiest way of creating a chatbot, although they have branding in your chatbot unless you pay monthly

Yes, this is a good idea if you are planning to automate some processes through this chat bot, like giving the basic information or collecting data. Of course if we are talking about consultation services here probably chat bot will not do the job.

to clarify further my point

my issue is 99% of patient inquiries for my health/cosmetic surgery site concerns asking for prices, which is a great time waster for me or my helpers. What I want to do is:

1/ if someone asks for a price for a specific procedure the bot gives them the answer
2/ the bot collects contact data for every possible patient, and everyone who asks any question
3/ to store and give the chatbot a few other answers for other non price related questions
4/ if the question is other than price or any other answer already prepared for the CB, to tell them to leave their contact data and we'll get in touch with them to provide a detailed answer
5/ the bot has a personality, something humorous

you think a chatbot in this day and age can do all of the above things?
