Chartboost Flippa question

I see a lot of apps popping up on flippa recently with same exact concept of marketing( i think its same concept on all )

1. they develop (reskin app ) and publish it
2. they run campaign on chartboost which is spending round $150 and earning them round $1k per month on chartboost also ( like arbitrage from chartboost to chartboost)

One thing i have noticed is that none of them is older than 2 months
They get banned after 2 months ?

Can anyone give me some insight if this is fake or they can really make it like that. and how they do it if its reall
Because if its producing $1k for every $150 invested why sell it. Why not scale the shit out of it ?

I have the same question. I've seen one seller on Flippa that does this for their business - they build quick apps, run a Chartboost campaign, and flip them. But in their listing they specifically say that the purpose of building the app was to flip it (and promote their Chartboost money making system.)

But are these listings legit? Can you really build a game, run a Chartboost campaign and profit that much per app?

Okay, so I got the basic idea of how it works after speaking with the seller.

The app is not making $1,000/month. Or to be more precise, the app in conjunction with the seller's Chartboost account is making that much, but you will not. She told me that she will show you what you need to do to optimize your campaigns to get it to make that much.

Basically what it boils down to is your Chartboost campaigns perform better if you fit certain requirements (downloads/installs, etc.) So on someone that has built their Chartboost account over months/years, it's easy to rank, so to speak. So she can launch a new app and her campaigns are already optimized, because she's a top Chartboost member already. Someone brand new with a new Chartboost account will not see the same results. You would have to build it to get to the point she is at. She teaches you how to do this if you purchase her apps.

So that's how it works. It's definitely not set and forget.

No, I did not purchase. I felt like it was a little misleading and you're paying for her "system" rather than the app itself and that's not what I was interested in buying.

Could be part of it. Most of it has to do with the age of their Chartboost account - the longer you have an account, the more apps/installs you have, the better PPI, etc. So if you're just starting out, your payouts will be crap. I'm not paying $2,000 for that. I remember (this was back in March) she said something along the lines of it taking $300-$400/month for about 6 months AFTER buying her app/system before you would even begin to see a return. So you're talking $2,000 for the reskin game, and then another $1800-$2400 before you start generating revenue, never mind seeing ROI. No thanks.

These are fraud products.

"I'm going to teach you how to teach other people about ...fill..in..the..blank....."

Even though fraud has no statute of limitations, you will have a hard time getting your money back.

Your only choice is to ALWAYS make sure you pay by check and you send it in the US mail, not UPS or Fedex

That way if it is fraud, it is ALSO "mail fraud" which carries a Federal Penalty and you can report it to the FBI

Always get their name and address as well as their corporate name and check it on the state website. That way you know who to kick.....

Better to stay away from scammers

You can do alot of Instagram Niche Marketing with $2,000 .........

This is essentially how it works. You have to spend a lot of money advertising your app on a bunch of random apps all around the world. The point of this is to create a blocklist, which stops you from advertising on apps with low or 0 installation rate. You also block apps that your app advertises that doesn't pay you very well.

Its ad arbitrage using Chartboost.

l definitely got the CPI down using the method, but never saw good installation rate. I got the method and blew a few hundred on it. I never made more than a dollar per day in revenue.

I'd be willing to teach the method/share my blocklist with anyone interested. But this isn't a very good money making system IMO. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone reading this.
