Charon vs Scrapebox

Hey, I know I am a newb by profile but really ancient lurk, say circa 2006.

I just wanted this knowledge, and will give back:

Is Charon better at testing than Scrapebox (kinda duh, but why)?

I used to use Charon as my first stop before bru*e*orcin* for dodgy :wink: sites. It was awesome then on the IRC password network, but remember the whole judges issue was the main stumbling point for newbs. Sooooo:

Do you all use Scrapebox for scraping (not posting) or do you still use your privates. No pun.

I have tried both I geuss its a matter of preference Charon gives you much more information and its easy to add your own list of free proxy sites. Scrapebox runs automatically. Just recently I noticed the fastest way to check proxies is through Zenno poster at least 20 x faster than Charonor Scrapebox.

theres 1 mailn difference between charon and s/box

charon only tests if a proxy is live/speed/country
scrapebox - example can test if a proxie is good on Google
charon cant do this, charon can test for anonymous proxies
s/box cant because s/box can use socks/anon/transparent proxies
but cant filter them

in short if u want a true anonymous list test them in charon with
good proxy judges.. both tools test proxies
but not for the same criteria
