This is interesting

if you search for 'charles floate'
his website is ranking #75
and on his site he says that google targeted him

i guess this confirms what ppl already know, which is that google will target a property as collateral damage, even if said property isnt explicitly violating any rules

i dont really have a question here, but curious to hear other people's take or opinion on the matter

on a side note, has anyone purchased his link building quick wins book? worth the $27?

I think you will find he ranks 75 because A.) He is shit at SEO.

B.) All the news sites like ITV, BBC which have the rundown on his court case for being a nonce, are far more authoritive than his little kiddies seo guru wannabe blog.

Yes Google are targeting some kids blog that had 200 in traffic a month. Just like the FBI planted child porn on his computer to take him down.

Disillusioned little fool at best.
 
Just had to search, justice has been done. BHW Charles Floate interview ranking no2 for Charles Floate Interview. And for "Charles Floate", well the results are just comical. Looks like little Charlie as a busy year ahead of him, clearing up the shit storm he created by being a cocky arrogant little cunt.
 
Well for Google to manually target a website would take a quite a bit of effort on their part. Keeping in mind that they let AI do most their heavy lifting, so they would have to manually access an infraction. I'd say it is far more likely that he's been reported for infraction or he has been negative seo'ed than Google having a beef.

Couldnt believe this thread, but well, thats what it is. And no, no need to buy any SEO tips from anyone. All you need to know is freely available everywhere.

Strange isn't it, his website ranks for fuck all. And in its hay day it was doing a whopping 189 organic search terms. You know you are the God of seo when you are pulling in such hefty traffic.
