How common is doing charity with crypto ? Or is it like people consider crypto too much valuable and precious and thus never donate it in charity ?

Charitable donations in cryptocurrency are becoming more and more popular, many large organizations (UNICEF, Red Cross ...) have accepted. The advantages are fast, transparent, and tax benefits. However, compared to fiat money, the rate is still small because many people consider crypto as an asset to hold rather than to donate.

Organizations accepting crypto is not going to boost this. I am sure any organization in the world will be ready to accept donation in crypto.

I consider buying alts as an act of charity. ROI is almost guaranteed to be negative and you will feel yourself a better (rich) person (in your dreams).
Seriously tho, crypto is just an instrument. If someone in need accepts crypto, they simply position themselves for more options/opportunities. So yeah, commonality increases with more adoption.

I understand, Some big organizations like UNICEF, Save the Children, Greenpeace have accepted donations in crypto. However, many other organizations are still hesitant due to legality, price volatility and reputation concerns.
