I consider buying alts as an act of charity. ROI is almost guaranteed to be negative and you will feel yourself a better (rich) person (in your dreams).

Seriously tho, crypto is just an instrument. If someone in need accepts crypto, they simply position themselves for more options/opportunities. So yeah, commonality increases with more adoption.

I understand, Some big organizations like UNICEF, Save the Children, Greenpeace have accepted donations in crypto. However, many other organizations are still hesitant due to legality, price volatility and reputation concerns.
