Charging Back On FB ads

We had hired on someone for the last month to run FB ads and after I realized that he had spent over $1200 on ads and we didn't gain 1 conversion, I am on the fence on whether to just eat the expense or go to the CC company and req a chargeback. What's the blow back from this

LOL ... 0 sales from $1200 Campaign , was he showing dummy ad campaign or statistics to you .

Were you not checking what he was doing ?
 
If you request a chargeback, won't your account get banned?
 
Whats your niche and set up?
At the start of this year we outsourced our social media to a freelancer who previously worked with one of our biggest competitors. We paid a similar price to you we got 3 emails and 0 conversions.
 
You might get banned, but I've seen people not pay $300+ they owe facebook
 
Yea, I guess it's just time to swallow the expense and roll with it. Lesson learned on our end...
I just don't understand how you create 0 conversions on that much money but again, it was my fault for not watching over his shoulder, even though that's why I hired on a 'pro'.

*Edit: Think it's worth contacting FB about with a friendly letter or is that just going to fall on def ears? I'm not trying to go a shitty route with a charge back, I just don't know how to really absorb this.

What was you expecting, what other advertising have you done and how did they compare?
 
It's your own fault for not checking up on your campaign/person you hired. It's not FaceBook's job, you paid facebook to show your ad. They did there job.

Staggered you're even considering claiming back against FB, when it was clearly the clown you hired at fault.

This is like buying paint from a paint manufacturer, getting a decorator to paint your house. He does a shit job, but you complain to the paint company their product is a rip off.

You either got scammed or hired a complete idiot. I would have them pay you back that money. I also suggest sharing all his information so he never scams anyone again.
 
there is no way you did not get a single sale. It's not that hard to get at lease 1% click. He somehow scammed you,probably with cloaked links.
 
Pursue the dummy and request a refund for what his profit margin was. Not much you can do against facebook.
