Changing / updating content on already ranked page with snippeta

Hi guys, I have a question for people who already have experience on this, I have some pages which already ranking nr1 and nr2 in my niche and with a lot of snippets which beings me good traffic, now the question:

I want to update the information on some of those pages, I still haven't changed anything because I'm afraid to lose those google 'benefits', is better to only add new information, its safe to remove some outdated info or... its better not to touch anything because of the risk with losing the snippet benefits?

No, if it is already ranking don't touch it, it only can get worse, the quality doesn't really matter as it is already ranking well

If something is outdated, remove it. Your website won't stay there forever anyways.
