So I had a decent video that was getting 900 views a day at some periods, and minimum of 600 at other times. I noticed a new trend in the same field and changed the title and tags to compete with the big guys some more. After indexing, on day two the video settled at 14th place, and of course I'm not very happy with that. #1 video has just 2 or 3 K's more views than mine, so I'm wondering; should I expect to go up in a matter of days or does YouTube have some kind of penalty for those like me, (this is the second or third time that I've actually changed the title) or the #1 video is just that high because it's the official channel? Would changing the title and tags back to previous, also put my video on some lousy position. What are most common/important factors Y looks when choosing a rank for a video? Age? Title? Description? Number of views? ..... In what order, if any?
