hey everyone, hope you're making fat stacks
i'm really curious about something..as you know, ig lets you change your name, username, delete everything, basically, a clean slate..for now I've got an account close to 1k followers and one that I've just started and it's going pretty well
when (and I will) I'll reach 50k followers, 100k etc, will I still be able to change all that stuff? cuz I've been thinking, there's ways to grow an account relatively easy, but the niche may not be as profitable as the slow growing ones, so, can I just rebrand it?
considering I'm going into cpa, I'll think about something to catch the follower's attention

yep you can still change it, but you'll kill your engagement in the process

as long as you offer your followers a product worth giving a few clicks, I don't think it would be a bad thing, right?

I would change it as long as the niche is similar to what you had so you don't lose that many followers in the process

Changing name will get unfollows in most cases, even if you stay within the same niche.

If you want to change name and niche, it should be done as soon as possible. If I regret my name and niche at 20k, I take my loss and start a new one.

well, the 1k one is my personal account and it's growing, but the followers will mainly be from romania (my country), I'll think of something to monetize it (unfortunately, rarely people complete surveys and shit, so I don't think I can use a content locker)
the other one's with asses, girls and shit, propperly managed it should grow nicely..
any tips to get more followers? (i'm liking, commenting, follow/unfollow but that's gonna be until 10k, on the second accound I'm uploading photos of celebrities and tagging them, I'll try to manage the posts so that only the most engaging ones remain)

There's little point in changing the niche of a big account as your engagement depends on the niche

On one account I tried switching from one niche inside food to another very similar niche and my engagement plummeted and I started losing followers.

I would expect a true niche change to be even worse.

Even changing the name will lose you followers, I noticed that on facebook pages...so try to stick to what u started with

Agreed with the above. There have been times when I started an account, got it to 1k in a niche, then switched to another niche. That account basically became a zombie account after 1 or 2 changes, and I abandoned it, which wasn't a big deal as it was still small. It would get 5-10 likes a post with 1.6k followers.

As long as your account is still have 1k followers or 2k, I think it's okay to change your niche. But you must know that your likes might be dropped, and you have to build your pace again.
