Changing the ip of a PBN

Hello,

I've been in SEO for a few months now, so I have a good foundation. Now I am more and more interested in PBN. I read that it is necessary to avoid having an element that can identify the network (Theme, Extention or IP). Hence my question, how to make so that the site that I create is not the same address as the others.

Feel free to share me an article or video if you have on this subject, I did not find.

People either go for multiple cheap hosting packages or go for a hosting package made especially for PBNs, with multiple IPs to choose from. Don't just try to hide the IP behind cloudflare because google can see past it

Depends on what you're doing... in some instances google can see past CF but that's not the case if you keep this in mind when setting up PBN

By the way the question was asked, I kind of figured I shouldn't go into too many technical details. Wouldn't want to have him discouraged by too complex info

Any proof for that? That's what I have been doing for some ot them!
 
There is at least one seller here in the BHW marketplace that offers PBN hosting, look into that first:) Or search for 1$ hosting packages and build each PBN website on a different webhosting package. Although that will make it hard for you to keep track of the websites

Proof that google can get past cloudflare? well, if you know what you're doing, you can do it too. So why would a company as big as google not be able to do it?:)

Because the nameservers point directly to cloudlfare. I don't see how they could do it. Btw, I started doing this after receiving the advice of a PBN seller so if you say this to me, now that I have many sites on different shared hosting plans, that..scares me :eek:

OVH if you're going for dedi. Keep in mind if you're planning on hiding behind CloudFlare anything that would bypass CF could expose you (ie MX records), would also be good idea to use multiple CF accounts and have different nameservers.

They can't. But being lazy with DNS records... ie using bunch of domains on CF then having same IP in MX record on all of them or something like that would more or less allow google or anyone else to put 1 and 1 together. In terms of probability having loads of backlinks from domains with exact the same CF nameservers is also low, especially if there are no other backlinks or too few of them, same as in only having backlinks from CF hosted domains... and so on and so on.

True, most of the tools use dns misconfigurations or historical data to find information on the real IP and if you know what you're doing you can hide them. But if you don't.. I don't care very much about direct IP mitigation for some of the MNSs I built long ago, so I tried to find the IPs for some of them just now. Turns out, 3 out of 5 gave the real IP address when I used the first browser tool I found on google:)

Thanks and good advice. Cloudlfare actually alerts you on which record is exposing your IP address which is, as you said, MX. I guess to keep receiving email I need to use a free mail provider/forwarder, such as improvmx?
Edit: yes that's one way to do it, simply add their MX records and delete the original hosting one.

If you need it (mails and such). I would randomly put up contact form or something and wouldn't setup MX record at all. Or use anything from G Suite (careful not to feed google more data), Zoho and others. Using improvmx on all MX records across many domains is probably big footprint too. Also with contact forms and such, reusing ReCaptcha/HCaptcha keys is also footprint, even more so if all ReCaptcha keys are on 1 google account. Google analytics... well you get the idea.
