I just got a customer header made, but I am not sure how I change it to the new one.

Its on a private domain not a wordpress hosted one.

Can anyone tell me how to do it plz?

Look inside the themes folder, go into the images folder. Usually the "header" has a file name like "Logo.png" or "header.jpg", change the new files header name to match the old one and then copy it into the folder. Check to see if the dimensions of your new header and the dimensions of the old one are the exact same. Otherwise, it'll fit in weird or sometimes not at all.

What exactly do you mean with header? Did you get a complete header.php or just a picture? More information needed to give clear instructions ;)

EDIT: If you got a picture, do the above stated :)

    Home Page:
yes, header.php is that file which is responsible for the header, buit you need to make sure that you are looking to the right place of header file. You need to check what theme you are using and what header.php you edit.

    You'd better list your domain.

Most wordpress theme's head is a logo picture and a ad place.

The logo picture always in the image fold of theme, you can easily find it(logo.jpg,logo.png)

Change the logo and notice the size.(different size may affect the header look.)

Right click over the image you want to change and click view image to see where it is located and name your new image the same thing and upload it to the server to the same location overwriting the old image.
