Changing permalink can make a problem ?

hey there so i have a website that has somethign around 70 articles that the permalinks are like this :

website.com/index.php/date of publishment of article / title of article

i want now to change it and make it look like this :

website.com/ title of article

of course this can easily be done but will it affect my seo or not ?

if yes is it worth it or not ?

There won't is many problems if you use WordPress. When you change the permalink old URL will use 301 redirect ot new link. You might see some ranking drop temporarily.

I think it will hurt your rankings. Maybe if you 301 redirect the old links to the new ones before google notices the changes it won't hurt your site, but I am not sure

your signature returns error page, mate! You have added an extra "R" at the end of the URL. Remove it and it will work

It may affect your rankings or maybe a google dance.
Best thing is change the permalinks and 301 redirect old url's to new ones.

It's a normal practice to re-design, optimise, and update websites so the structure might change. Just make sure your old permalinks 301-redirct to the new ones and you'll be fine.

Yes, you will see some fluctuations in rankings but it's gonna recover.
Yes, it is worth it.
Don't forget to redirect. Yoast automatically redirects your old page to the new one when you change your permalink.

Your rankings may fluctuate a little, but it's common practice to optimise pages and 301 redirect URL's so it's safe to do so, but just double check your 301's work

Depends, if your structure is fine previously, dont change it.
If your new structure makes alot better sense, and you aint converting hugely, go ahead and change.
Make sure to 301 all your old URLs to the new one.
